Feeding My Own Creative Spirit - A Workshop in Encaustic Painting

I recently completed an encaustic painting workshop at the Visual Arts Center of New Jersey. Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves the use of heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The liquid, which is melted and manipulated with use of a heat gun, is then applied to a rigid surface, such as wood. I am excited to share my new knowledge with my students!
