High Point Wins the Crystal Springs Jack-o-lantern Contest

Congratulations to the student artists of High Point who recently won the $1000 prize for Best Collaborative Theme at the Crystal Springs Jack-o-lantern Contest. Competing with other area schools, and our students carved a whopping 70 pumpkins to celebrate Hispanic Art in the frame of a Mexican ofrenda. Ofrendas, used during Day of the Dead, are set up to remember and honor the memory of special ancestors.
